......a pair of kamiks.

Kamiks are made of seal skin. They are warm. Inuit used waterproof kamiks a long time ago. Inuit people make different kinds of kamiks. They made kamiks to protect themselves from the cold. People can buy kamiks at the coop. People sew designs using seal skin. Elderly women know to make kamiks. They were used to go camping and hunting. I have kamiks and they are made with seal skin. Girl's kamiks have beads and the boys have dark leather instead. The boys design on the kamiks are vertical and the girl's designs are horizontal. We have two kinds of kamiks at our place. Kamiks can be made small for young children also bigger for adults.

.......an atiqik.

An atiqik is a Inuit parka made with goose down. In the spring people hunt geese to collect the down for their parkas.
I like to wear my atiqik when I go camping. Lots of people make atiqiks. Atiqiks can be colourful. Atiqiks are very warm. Atiqiks have fox fur around the hood to protect our face from the cold.
