On September 6, 2000 we went for a fishing trip. The best time to go fishing here is at low tide so we had to choose our time carefully. It is a long, muddy walk out to the water's edge and we always have to be sure that we don't get caught as the tide starts to come back up!

The bus drove us down right
to the edge of the mud.

Grade Six ready for fishing!
Walking through the mud - make
sure you hold onto your boots!
Sonny Boy, David, and Ned were
very excited to be fishing.
We didn't catch any real fish - but Sharon caught a banana fish!
Ned had his waders on and was
casting his line a long way.
Thomas thought the whole
morning was pretty great!
Before we went back to school, we had a fire and cooked some hot dogs.
