These kamiks are waterproof. They are good to wear in the spring when the snow starts to melt. They are sewn with very small stitches. The foot is made of seal skin. The top is made of seal fur. When the pattern on a kamik is vertical it is for a male. When the pattern on a kamik is horizontal it is for a female. Women's kamiks also have beautiful bead work on the top of the foot. |
